Ethernet Cable Coupler
- The Ethernet physical layer is the physical layer component of the Ethernet standard.
- Cable transmission medium for Ethernet classified as XbaseY, where X is the data rate in Mb/s, “base” means baseband (as opposed to radio frequency) and Y is the category of cabling. The original cable was 10base5. Common XbaseY Ethernet Cable Classifications include:
- any of several types of coaxial cable used in ethernets
ethernet cable
- Something that connects two things, esp. mechanical components or systems
- (Couplers) Special sleeves designed to join lengths of PVC conduit together. Joints are solvent-welded
- A device in an organ for connecting two manuals, or a manual with pedals, so that they both sound when only one is played
- A similar device for connecting notes with their octaves above or below
- A coupling (or a coupler) is a mechanism for connecting rolling stock in a train. The design of the coupler is standard, and is almost as important as the railway gauge, since flexibility and convenience are maximised if all rolling stock can be coupled together.
